The BP218XP is a high performance subwoofer which combines state of the art low frequency drivers with the latest cabinet technology. It contains two ferrite 18″ high power drivers with long excursion and 4″ voice coils. The cabinet is designed as a bandpass 6th order in combination with mathematical and acoustical optimized horn exits. The result is a subwoofer with one of the highest sensitivity on the market. Furthermore, the cabinet design will guarantee low distortion and perfect control of the cone excursion. Due to its high continous power capability the BP218XP can also reach a very high undistorted SPL above 140dB.
